On May 13, 2015, Weddings.io was born from a simple observation: the global South Asian wedding industry had no dedicated digital platform.
Weddings.io began with a simple belief: South Asian weddings deserved infrastructure built for their scale, culture, and complexity.
Generic wedding platforms could not fully represent multi-day celebrations, ceremony-specific needs, large guest counts, family decision-making, or culturally specialized vendors.
The platform exists to organize the industry and give couples, planners, and vendors a stronger operating layer.
